SPPL selected as Aqualunar Assessment Partner

Space Professionals Partnership (SPPL) and its partners have been selected as the Assessment Partner for the Aqualunar Challenge (https://aqualunarchallenge.org.uk/) delivered by Challenge Works on behalf of UK Space Agency. This challenge is seeking innovative early stage concepts for purifying water extracted from beneath the Lunar surface. Together with our partners, Space Professionals Partnership is supporting Challenge Works in the detailed assessment of the applications. Initial assessments will take place over the next few weeks, followed by the Challenge Works judging panel  (https://aqualunarchallenge.org.uk/judges/) making the decision on the finalists who will go on to explore their concepts further. The assessments of the finalists detailed concepts will then take place early in 2025.

Andy Williams, co-founder of Space Professionals Partnership said “This is an exciting programme being delivered by Challenge Works. As the selected assessment partner, SPPL has the opportunity to highlight the breadth and depth of expertise within our network of independent consultants to support the assessment of the innovative concepts driven through the Aqualunar Challenge.”
