Space Professionals Partnership win Cislunar Post Mission Disposal Study

Space Professionals Partnership Ltd (SPPL) has been selected by UK Space Agency for a Study to investigate Post Mission Disposal Options in the Cislunar environment.  The study will undertake a critical analysis of the pros, cons and risks of various Cislunar post mission disposal options considering the impacts over the short and longer term.  Factors such as cost, implications on mission design and maturity of technology are being considered as well as the key risks involved for each disposal option.  

SPPL are utilising depth and breadth of experience through its partnership network. The study team includes experts from lunar, sustainability and mission disposal perspectives and includes Matthew Stuttard, Mini Rai, Matthew Wills and Adit Shah. The short study started in December 2024 and will conclude in March 2025.
