Baptiste Lombard

Baptiste joined the Space Professionals Partnership network in November 2023, and has already supported SPPL with ground segment consultancy to the Satellite Applications Catapult.  During this work, Baptiste initially supported a phase B ground segment engineering analysis of their operational facilities, and followed this with some further work investigating the further potential of the Satellite Applications Catapult operational infrastructure.

Baptiste is the director of Ruwah Ltd, and has a strong space systems engineering background with 15 years of industry experience on mission definition, satellite & ground segment design and space operations.

He built up a satellite Operations Centre for a nanosatellite global leader in the UK (team, infrastructure, processes) and managed ongoing LEO space missions.  Baptiste also has a keen interest on business strategy and entrepreneurship and has been mentor & board advisor for various start-ups. Now a consultant, he is ideally positioned to come alongside fast-growing businesses as they seek to define their development roadmap, define a product strategy, build engineering teams, formalise their engineering processes and manage complex project deliveries.
